This was a great gesture by Cam to invite Sharonda Coleman-Singleton's family to the game. I'm glad he kept in touch with them.

Back in June, Cam Newton traveled to Charleston, South Carolina to visit Chris Singleton, a Charleston Southern University baseball player whose mother Sharonda Coleman-Singleton was one of nine killed in the shooting at Emanuel AME Church the week prior.

On Sunday, Newton invited Singleton and his family to watch the Carolina Panthers’ in their final regular season game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

They got to see the Panthers wax the the Bucs 38-10 to cap off a 15-1 regular season and secure home-field advantage for the divisional round of the playoffs. Singleton also got to kick it with Cam Newton’s mom.

This should be one of the leading topics on the first page in the Huddle instead of the CO trash editorial piece..

You're right, but on the huddle, any feel good story about Cam doesn't attract many people.

People like reading about negative things for some reason.

Unfortunately that's human nature brother.

Negative news always gets more attention than positive news.

I know it's human nature. I'm not denying that fact.

FYI: I'm a sister by the way. I'm all WOMAN! :)

First it was the pic of Chosen at the game and now this thread...  Great job finding interesting stuff to post on the huddle.  You getting close to "must click" status around here.

    • 1. Cowboys-No explanation needed. 2. Rest of NFC South equally. If I had to pick I would say Falcons.    3. Eagles- Both of the games I have attended there the fans were so horrible. The fan base is so ridiculously misbehaved, I’ve never seen such immaturity. 4- Lions- I have cousins in Michigan that grew up Lions fans and they are some of the most obnoxious people I have ever met, as are all of their Lions buddies. The NFL has been lucky that Detroit has been in the cellar for its eternity.    5. Tie between Bears and Vikings. Both act like Steelers, Cowboys, Niners fans do with nostalgia and legendary seasons but neither have ever really had them. They act like they each won 5 super bowls in previous decades but never accomplished poo outside of Chicago in 85.
    • You play the Saints that is great news for your O line.
