Giants are about as good as an organization as McDermott can hope to become a HC for.  Great QB already in place, and ownership that has proven to be very patient in letting a guy build a culture.  A thousand times better than dumpster fire Cleveland, that's for sure.

I actually think he should take the Browns job, I probably would if I were him. They were just 7-9 a year ago and they have a good o-line, which is probably the most important (and under-appreciated) positional group in football. They have the #2 pick and will probably grab a qb with that pick. They have been firing a ton of coaches so this time they will probably be pretty patient. 

Just imagine, if you're the coach to turn that team around, that fanbase will love you forever. The Browns have had exactly one winning season and zero playoff appearances since returning. If you think you're a good coach why not take on a challenge?

It's not like Philly or NY Giants are a real steal of a job or anything, both of those teams are pretty well a mess.
