I have been a panthers fan since the first snap and I think we should start Matt its his time now Jake is almost 35 now and he is a old fart Matt is only 24 and last time his name got called when we screwed him for old ass Vinny I felt realy bad now we sign Feeley who has 29 picks and 29 td's in his career I just think fox needs to go and Hurney I have faith in Moore whoever agrees with me let me no.

Why are the Panthers even keeping Matt Moore,if they don't have enough confidence in him to be the #2 QB.

I say give the kid a chance,he can't be any worse than the career backups that are constantly being brought in.

Mark my words, when and if,Matt Moore leaves the Panthers, some team will be getting a good potential starting QB,or at least a capable backup.

QB is a position the Fox/Hurney staff don't seem to value very highly and it is coming back to bite them, and i fear the worst is yet to come,in that respect.

sweet, another brand new dumbass posting a poorly-formed threat about a worn-to-death topic discussed by other like-minded dumbasses. i love these

I don't see a problem with people posting question if they are fans of a team. Right if you are a fan of this team you have a question or 3. Why not Matt Moore he has been kept on the roster for 3 years. That is more time then Jake had with the team when he took over for Peete. He has the same amount of wins under his belt as Jake had when he took over for Peete. One thing you can say about Moore is in the short time we seen him he has led the team on Drives down the field.

I think it is f'n stupid for a person too question other people for looking for anwser for a team they love and suffer with when the team gets it's doors blown off. Or acts like a f'n idiot when people post a opinion on a opinion Board.

I'm having trouble understanding this as well. Matt Moore has proven that he can win with the starters. His teammates have a lot of faith in him and play hard for him. He is perfectly capable of managing this run-first offense. Most importantly, he won't turn the ball over five times in a game. There must be something going on behind the scenes that we don't know about.

    • Canales was asked about Freeling at OTAs getting beat by Princely and Scourton.  He basically described the learning curve, and it sounds as if Freeling has a lot to learn before taking the job.  Walker gives us time.  Having said that, Motown talks like he has a few (2-3?) years left---and I would love to see it.   If you look at the contracts, It is a good bet that Hunt and Lewis are extended and given some guaranteed $$$ to lower the cap hit.  Lewis is about 29 and Hunt is 30, I believe.  That gives us about a 3-year window to start grooming their replacements.  Ickey seems to be the person who could be left without furniture in the musical chairs game.  I would move him to guard and use him like a Travelle Wharton--we have a good problem--we could have six or seven starting OL on the roster.  Of course, that won't last long.
    • I see this point and agree--However, someone is going to bite.  In fact, I think there will be some bluffing going on to make the desperate teams raise the stakes.  We shall see.
    • I could see a team like the Jets, Cardinals etc. bid a second round pick, get a year to see where he’s at, and still take a first round QB if he doesn’t show the right stuff. A risk well worth taking. I just wonder how much of a mental toll the last few months have taken on him?
