You know, its arguments like these that make me wonder if the NFL is ever going to have the statistical revolution that the MLB has seen, and that the NBA is headed towards (maybe). MLB now has a stat for every scenario, player value over replacement player...all that crap. If only the NFL had that.....Jake would have a -1000000000 VORP right about now.

Your right, Jake constantly had Eagles in his face, the Pack didn't get any rush on Cutler.

Cutler just stunk it up on his own.

Considering that 2 of Cutler's INTs occurred when he was flushed from the pocket and was rolling out nullifies your post.

Thanks, please pull through. :D

Yea there was def some out coaching on the other side. Its bad when you cant even get off a Screen pass. Why Jake threw it when he could not see is beyond me though. Jake was an Oreo on several plays that game. Then again his fumble was all him. The whole Offense IMO played like crap. Even Dwill lost yards.

    • There probably isn’t an orthopedic surgery that has had more improvement in technique and outcomes over the last two decades than the acl repair. Because of its importance in pro sports and the sheer number that surgeons do there have been lots of opportunities to practice 1. Better techniques - arthroscopic v open surgery means people heal faster  2. More training - all sports med surgeons have tons of experience doing them 3. better imaging - later generations of mri are more sensitive  4. better therapy - PTs have gotten better at rehabbing them and the theories of rehab have improved a lot. No idea about brooks in particular tho, but I’d describe that overall situation as “not great”
    • If Freeling or either of the Utah OTs dropped to 19 I'd be more than happy honestly. Our OT situation isn't great with an aging Moton at RT and a mess of a situation at LT if Walker goes down at any point in time.  What I'm expecting the Panthers to do is probably draft another weapon like Sadiq or KC Conception. That's been their track record in drafting R1 thus far. None of the defensive talent projected to be around 19 stands out to me. Unless they just want to draft a LB early (Rodriguez,  CJ Allen, Anthony Hill, Jake Gollday).
