With all the snow in the North Carolina over the weekend, there wasn't much to do, so the Panthers social media team decided to make good use of their free time by creating a hashtag that everyone in both North and South Carolina could get behind.

Getting the two Carolinas to agree on anything is almost impossible, but the Panthers social media team did it with the hashtag #OneCarolina. The only reason we're telling you about this is because the hashtag has taken over in the Carolinas with almost every college and pro sports team wishing the Panthers luck in Sunday's NFC Championship.

CHARLOTTE - Professional teams and collegiate athletic programs from across the region shared messages of support for the Carolina Panthers on social media yesterday, ahead of Sunday's NFC Championship against the Arizona Cardinals. According to Trendsmap USA, the #OneCarolina hashtag became a nationally trending topic within thirty minutes of the initial tweet. It continued to trend regionally for the remainder of the day and accounted for 2.4 million views by 4:00 p.m. according to Trendinalia.
