Nice article by Scott Fowler... 2015 Panthers one of the best teams ever.

Quote

A victory over the Broncos would push Carolina to an 18-1 mark, which would tie for the best record over a 19-game season (when the Miami Dolphins went undefeated in 1972, they only had to win 17 games).

Underrated for much of the season, the Panthers will be a favorite to win the Super Bowl over Denver. They don’t have the notoriety of the 1985 Chicago Bears or a few of the other teams, but you don’t go 17-1 by accident. If the 2015 Panthers make it to 18-1, though, they deserve to be ranked among the top half-dozen teams to ever play in the NFL.

▪ I never thought I’d see Larry “Legend” Fitzgerald drop passes like he did Sunday night.

▪ The Panthers’ Philly Brown (113 yards) had more receiving yardage than Fitzgerald, Michael Floyd and John Brown put together (90 yards). We all saw that coming, right?

▪ Wide receiver Ted Ginn had a score to settle against Arizona, saying afterward: “Yes, it was personal.” Ginn said after the game he felt that the Cardinals in 2014 “deep down didn’t feel like I could do it” and “sent me back out to the wolves” after one unproductive year. Ginn had an incredible game against his old team, saving a touchdown on Patrick Peterson’s interception return, scoring on a 22-yard return and catching two other passes for 52 yards.

▪ Kurt Coleman now has nine interceptions this season when you include the playoffs. The one just before halftime, when he leaped high to intercept Carson Palmer right after Cam Newton was intercepted, was superb.

Good stuff in this article.

10. Since the start of 2011 and including playoffs, Cam Newton has rushed 648 times for 3,383 yards and 45 touchdowns. Peyton Manning has rushed 94 times for minus-48 yards and one touchdown in that same span.

14. When the Broncos lose the Super Bowl, they lose big. They have been outscored 206-58 in their five Super Bowl losses

BBR has posted snap counts:

http://blackandbluereview.com/nfc-championship-snap-counts-cardinals-at-panthers/

On offense, 4 players played all 100% of 72 snaps (Remmers, Oher, Turner, Norwell).

Notes:

—As expected, Jonathan Stewart has been a workhorse since returning from a foot sprain. He’s had 19 carries in each playoff game.

Devin Funchess has been limited to 48 snaps in the Panthers’ two playoff games.

On Defense, only 1 player played 100% of 64 snaps.... our newest starter:  Robert McClain

Robert McClain is now the only Panthers’ defender to have played every snap in these playoffs.

—You know how they always talk about ‘next man up’? After replacing the injured Thomas Davis, Shaq Thompson ended up playing 50 more snaps than he did against Seattle. And Tre Boston, who filled in for Roman Harper, saw 46 more plays than he did versus the Seahawks.

Kony Ealy saw his most playing time since Week 9. That will likely go down again if/when Jared Allen returns for the Super Bowl.

I cant believe mcclain was the only one on defense to play every snap.  But, some of the others (luke, kk, norman, coleman) may have came out in garbage time.

I love the fact we had garbage time in the nfcc because we were blowing them out.  Derek anderson got to work on his kneel down.
