Avenged Sevenfold kicks some serious ass live. That is all.

I've seen them live 5 times. From the Waking the Fallen days to now. My favorite shows of theirs were during the City of Evil days. I saw them in Myrtle Beach at the tail end of their Cities of Evil tour. It was amazing.

was there. Only saw them one other time at Amos' for their self-titled album. I literally played their music for 2 str8 years at one point on a day to day basis.

Dude I was at Amos' when they were touring Self Titled. I had seen them in Myrtle Beach the week prior as well. I still play City of Evil every day of my life.

A7X is meh... Kind of too commercial and mall-rattish to me...

BTBAM is the best out there... The Faceless are another one of my favorites, and I am also currently still listening to IWrestledABearOnce and Arsonists Get All the Girls...

As for other genres, nothing good has come out of them in years, so I don't bother... I'll still pop in some Biggie/Tupac every now and then for some rap, or maybe even Little Brother... But I usually stick to metal/classic rock... I also enjoy some bluegrass every now and then, but don't really have any favorites...

I'm gonna try to get to Amos' in Charlotte on the 6th of October though.. BTBAM + The Faceless + 3 Inches of Blood + In Flames.. Should be a sick show...

    • Jake in his prime was a gutsy QB. But just like with even someone like Cam. Father time is undefeated. It's very unfortunate we have a guy who is only 24 years old that has an equivalent arm to that. Absolutely blows my mind that our brain trust lacked the basic common sense to value arm talent when making a massive trade with ramifications for years to come. Unforgivable incompetence.
    • Jake, to me, will always hold a special place in my heart.  I really feel like for his era, he deserved way more love than he got, and should’ve had more than his one Pro Bowl.  He was a gamer with an underrated rocket arm. but let me tell you, after his Tommy John surgery, when he came back, I can’t remember who it was against, but it think it was a division game, he threw a ball that was supposed to be a throw away, as I think he was under pressure, and that poo floated forever and died right at the boundary where a defender ran over and picked it off.  One of the worst throws I ever saw.  His arm just wasn’t the same after the injury and surgery.  All that to say, that’s what almost every Bryce throw to the sidelines looks like to me.
    • And again, when watching him in college he had one distinct trait that I feel makes a franchise QB - on those plays when everything breaks down around him, he creates one on his own.  He doesn’t rely on or need everyone else.  That play last night on the final drive where he was getting sacked and threw it to Diggs before his knee hit the ground?  He does similar things all the time.  Mahomes, Allen, Lamar, etc., they all do it.  It’s what made Cam so special. but we picked a guy that’s the opposite of that.  He desperately needs someone else to make a play for him because he can’t.  Even that play yesterday on 4th down to Horn.  That wasn’t a great pass.  The defender was late and came down to make a play in the ball and Bryce threw it high and outside where Horn had to leave his feet and really use strong hands to catch it.  We relied on a 5’9” rookie playing in his first pro game to make THAT catch at THAT time bc of the early turnovers and a not great throw.  Crazy.
