How is that guy on the bottom still available?

Seriously....

Arizona alum here and I just don't get it, the guy is a STUD

I know we don't really have much of a need for a LB with Luke, TD, and Shaq, but I would go nuts if for some crazy reason we traded up and took him (because he absolutely will go before the second to last pick of the draft)

Scooby Wright? Yeah but he needs to be the Mack in a 3-4 defense. He wouldn't make it in a 4-3 in the NFL. The only linebacker that's left I would want to draft is Travis Feeney from Washington.

A few good names still available...

K. Garrett, WR

J. Adams, TE

That German WR

H Miller, CB

J Mills, S

D. Lasco, RB

J. Forrest, ILB

J. Holton, WR

C. Peake, WR

J. Kearse, S

E. Shumate, S

E. Striker, OLB

A. Burbridge, WR

B. Wilds, RB

So lets take Harlan Miller and really cause the fanbase to implode.

K. Garrett or H. Miller and I'm happy.  I'm still hoping we will trade up into the 6th to snag one of those guys (trade a pick from next years draft), and then grab maybe someone like J. Forrest in the 7th, assuming he's still there.  Really need some better ILB depth for Luke.

I disagree. I think this kid makes a fine 4-3 Sam back. Not to mention a back up Mike

We need an offensive guy for depth. I would draft Listenbee, Josh Ferguson, or Kyle Murphy.

If you want offensive depth, then Garrett should be a high choice.  6'4, 1600 receivers yards.  He's the same guy that really worked Sanchez.

I get that, and I like Garrett, but I was looking at speed in Listenbee, a fast swiss-army knife back, and hog molly depth. Garrett is a lesser version of about 3 guys we already have.

    • Is there any real statistical evidence of this beyond anecdotal things like washed vets signing with the Chiefs or Pats every once in a while?  it doesn't really hold up.  Everyone gets paid in FA.  Everyone gets paid on 2nd contracts.  Its just how it is.  Do you think Icky would make less in FA than he would with a Panther extension?  Is that what's being implied?
    • Fitts fuged up the Burns contract by not taking the trade. He lost his leverage at that point. That level offer was for a top 3 complete edge rusher which Burns never was. It should never have been a debate. Take the Rams offer if we weren't going to pay Burns that type of contract.  Icky should get paid. Where it will get interesting is when/if Bryce demands an extension after this year. If he follows the trend of 1st round QBs drafted and immediately starting for their team, and still with them, end of 3rd year is extension time. If Bryce demands his 45-50m per season and Morgan/Tepper pays it, I see Icky starting for someone else and us looking to the draft or FA market for a new LT.
    • Ickey has earned a good new contract obviously. We do need to draft a RT maybe in the 2026 draft.
