In all seriousness, we all know what the worst tragedy in Carolina Panthers history is.

Yeah, hard to beat 1st degree murder.

I hope Rae Carruth rots in jail.

He's due to be released in 2018.

It's crazy that he will get out prison.

He is a despicable human being.

Seems he was found not guilty of 1st degree murder, thus the light sentence.

"Carruth was found guilty of conspiracy to commit murder, shooting into an occupied vehicle, and using an instrument to destroy an unborn child. He was sentenced to 18 to 24 years in prison. He was found not guilty of first-degree murder, and so was spared the death penalty. He is serving the sentence at Tyrrell Prison Work Farm near Columbia, North Carolina, with a projected release date of October 22, 2018." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rae_Carruth

Even though he didn't pull the trigger, he should've been found guilty of 1st degree murder.

There is a good thing that came out of this.

The kid is an incredible human being, and the grandmother is an absolute beast for raising him like she has.

And he's a huge Panthers fan, and a Cam fan.  That is the positive in this otherwise horrific story.

    • I’m old enough to remember when I wanted to draft Njoku We brought back Mitchell and officially kept Tremble. Mitchell Evans isn’t going anywhere. Sanders who knows, he was awful last year I fully agree we need a better TE. This room is awful Njoku would be a massive help in the red zone. However it really seems like Dan and the FO prefer to go young on offense
    • You’re underselling Loveland imo. He’s so damn good. You can line him out wide and count on him to win 1 v 1. I don’t see that from Sadiq. Loveland is going to go over 1000 yards next season I’m not overly asking for a WR3. It’s just one of the few directions Morgan could go in round 1.  Let’s say Thieneman, Fano and Cooper are all on the board it’s a tough decision. I just don’t see how this team would take Sadiq over some of those guys given the way they run their offense. Our tight end room is easily bottom of the league so I can definitely see why someone would want a tight end though. At one point during the season I was on the Sadiq train as well. I just don’t think value wise for us specifically it makes sense given our team as a whole As far as tight ends go in this draft I really like Max Klare. Very smooth mover
    • Some of you need some serious help with the way 9 lives rent free in your heads I know for a fact, Dan loves Bryce. Bryce is his guy. This offense is very young and they’re asking Bryce to do a lot. With Idzik taking over playcalling duties it’s a move that is another step in the process of Bryce taking control of the offense. 24 years old. This youth movement on offense and putting more on 9’s shoulders is going to pay off in the long run
