Your assesment was half wrong I would like to see the same critque for Gettleman this cant be  swept under the rug.

Gettlefug will get a free ride from his nut slobbering Huddle lovers and he will get a free ride from Jerry Do Nothing Richardson.

We get to go back to Shula and Rivera bashing. You know the Kool-Aid is getting weak when huddlers start blaming "social issues" for what ails the Panthers.

But this is why when we lost I mentioned look at what Elway did when Bronco's lost to the Seahawks. He went on a FA rampage. Yeah our current players may have a hangover but if you bringing in new talent, they don't have that hangover. There's no SB loss in the back of their minds, they're hungry. You can't sit on cap space and be content with what you have. Elway knew it was urgent time

While I agree with you and have been saying the same thing for years, in that same vein though, the number one thing you have to do is retain your best players and Norman is exhibit A.  I've also said in the past that I feared Gettleman's one-and-done, high-turnover philosophy could catch up with us synergistically.

Not retaining certain guys (Norman, Harper), and in Josh's case, through a very humiliating and public divorce, combined with not infusing the team with high-level, proven talent at certain positions may have caught up with us.

Elway had urgency. Gettleman has none. Gettleman is also too prideful.

I said it before, and I'll say it again...  It's why I was so pissed that the NFL hosed us in the Superbowl for the sake of a great "ride off into the sunset" storyline for Manning.  When you work so hard, and have such a magical year going 15-1, with the league MVP, and you are robbed of your championship after a year long grind, it can't NOT take something out of you.  Yes, I am going to stick with that double negative...  because it's true.  I don't care who you are, that grind and coming up short, especially considering the circumstances, it takes something out of you.

Even as a fan, I came into this season more jaded than I ever have.  Then to open the season in Denver instead of making them prove their worth on our field, and to have their defenders trying to injure the league MVP on national tv with no consequences just compounded the let down we were already battling.  We had months to try to shake it off and the NFL immediately put us in a position to remind us of their power and haunt us with the memories of the Superbowl...  Once the season opener went down the way it did, I decided to prepare for the worst and hope for the best.

All of that poo is hard to overcome.

Gettleman gonna have to eat the biggest plate of crow maybe in Panther history....I mean dood was talkin mad poo for real and it looks good when it looks good but when it goes this way...holy poo he looks pretty stupid honestly.

I mean nationally he took a beating and they are usually wrong so we had hope but they were right and Josh still playing good and our secondary actually sucking...they will eat him alive as they should. Maybe this will teach him the 1 thing he apparently needs which is some humilty...you win with players not nippleshorts :)

Yeah so we don't retain and we don't gain. I fear KK is leaving after this season too if he's a FA especially if we continue to struggle. He's going to get paid by someone, I just think Gettlemen ways and comments seriously turns people away
