Another band that deserves it's own thread...Twenty One Pilots

Brilliant stuff.  Not my usual taste in music, although my taste is pretty wide.  I don't listen to the radio at all so I get all my new stuff from youtube which leaves me behind the curve generally.  But that's ok since I'm not 15 anymore and don't need to be in with the newest poo.  I know there are others out there like me so that's why I'm posting this, I'm sure there are plenty of people that already know this band but you didn't bring it to my attention so fug you.

My personal fave so far but I admit I didn't dig it as much on first listen....it really grew on me:

Probably my least favorite out of these 3 but still damn good in my mind:

Edit:  After having the chance to listen to all of their music I can safely say that these three songs aren't the best they have to offer.  Of course it depends on your taste.  But they have such a wide disparity of sounds and lyric structure that it would be impossible for me to classify a top 3.

One thing is for sure in my mind though...best band in a LOOOONNNNGGGG time.

Im a big fan. I missed them the last couple shows when they have some through town, but I won't miss them again.

Was it the same 3 I posted lol?  I haven't gone through all their stuff but I really liked these songs.  Very simple musically but brilliant lyrically in spots.

they are clever with making catchy stuff...

Everything they put out gets overplayed to hell, though.

Ride is the best to me... Heathens is okay... But they're definitely successful at what they do...

I've had a chance to dive into their stuff and this is another gem to me.  It's very simple which kind of lends to it's charm.  Also I don't know why but it reminds me of Pink Floyd for some reason, not sure why really.

By the way the more I listen to this band the more I'm convinced that Tyler (lead singer/songwriter) is brilliant.

A happy Depeche Mode vibe.

Amazing the diversity of their songs.  No other band I've ever heard has this depth of sound...except maybe The Beatles.
