Hurricane Matthew

My wife and I were under a mandatory evacuation yesterday in Greenville by the tar river. Our street is probably under water by now. We're hoping it doesn't get in, but my landlord said during Floyd it had water inside. They're only calling for the river to be 3 ft below Floyd level in the next couple days. Wife is heartbroken and catching a cold. I'm exhausted and stressed. I'd like to move back to Charlotte anytime now.

Wilmington got almost completely spared by this thing... some trees and limbs and random power outages, but not much...  Carolina Beach got a lot of water, as did the Brunswick County Beaches.

Inland tho... damn.  Whiteville, Clinton, Elizabethtown, Fayetteville, holy crap... some of the pics I'm seeing are nuts.  Floyd level flooding and worse.

I told most of my friends in the upcoming days that this one looked a lot more like Floyd than Fran...expect lots of inland flooding.  Unfortunately I was correct.

Hell my power didn't even flicker.
