Visiting Charlotte this Weekend

So my girlfriend and I are going to the Cardinals game this Sunday. I firmly believe that my intoxication level will only increase the enjoyment of the fans around me/help give our team a morale boost. 

Anyone have any recommendations on bars around the stadium we could hit up before then? For some reason, something is dinging in my head about NC not being able to sell alcohol before a certain time on Sundays.  Or should we just grab a case the night before and drink at a random person's tailgate?

Furthermore, any good bars around to go after the game?

Last question: what's your favorite restaurant/where do we have to go eat? (we love all food)

Tailgate is the way to go for an early game and a bar after.
