Five Takeaways from the Panthers vs Rams

Great post @Saca312

I can add one stat that struck me:  Very few penalties for the Panthers.  5 for 35 yards, compared to 10 penalties for 109 yards for the Rams.

I didn't have time tonight to dig through any other stats, but I was so struck by the greatly improved Panthers' performance in regards to penalties that I specifically checked the stat sheet for this info.

I haven't been keeping up with Panthers stats for recent games, but my hunch is that this was probably the least yards we've been penalized all season... It REALLY helped today when we were struggling for every yard on offense.

Anyone who thinks Remmers is a bad backup is vastly overestimating the OT talent across the league. He's serviceable.

He's a bad LT backup imo, but he's good as a RT backup. He's like an interchangable downgraded emergency part, but he works in most situations.
