No more injury excuses.

Doesn't this just feel like Fox is going to get a pass because of "all" the injuries we have had this season? What "injuries" are they really referring too? Kemo was a big one but we've had time to adjust, and now Leonard (who was playing well) is also out for the season which is another big blow. Chris Harris hasn't played yet which is tough but thats pretty much it. No one on offense has missed any serious game time. And no one on defense but the ones mentioned have either. I even heard Danny Crossman complaining about how the injuries have affected his personnel on SPECIAL TEAMS!!!

Normally I would be simpathetic to all this and would understandably give them a break but this team had its chance to get better and get deeper in the offseason and chose not to. Whether you wanna blaim Peppers or Hurney or Gross or Fox doesn't matter, its all bad management. We had an remarkable oppurtunity to make this team much better during the offseason. We were returning almost all our starters for crying out loud but we lost some key reserves. Reserves that are having to play in those injured spots and rookies who are having to play on special teams (and believe me, none of those guys were doing that in college).

I also would like to point out that if the Patriots can overcome Brady being injured in the first game of the season and still win 11 games then the whole injury excuse goes right out the window. Regardless of who is in there and who isn't we had a chance to improve the depth and didn't, now this FO and coaching staff will have to pay that price. Oh yeah and the fans as well. The Panthers have been outcoached and outmatched in 3 straight games, and for a team that was trying to gain respect around the league this embarrassing stretch of FO decisions doesn't look good.

No more excuses Fox, Crossman, and anyone else on that team (including players), we at the huddle want results!

Fox gets what he deserves. They had 2004 to go back and look at to remind them of what happens when you try to ride the previous seasons talent and NOT BRING IN ANYONE.

Then when players drop like flies- WATCH OUT....

Fox and Hurney are both to blame, not one FA signed, depth lacks, and we have LOST SEVEN (7) STRAIGHT GAMES

7 damn games

We were thin at DT last year.....and Carolina got lucky last season. Not only were we thin we were pretty average there to begin with. Fox doesn't get a pass when someone like Kemo goes down....he should be blamed for not addressing a weakness of last year.....probably the biggest one on defense.

    • You do, the guy who doesn’t appear to grasp projection.  as the entire board knows, I do in fact, take positions.  The position here I have taken is that Bryce Young is a weak bottom tier starting QB, without NFL starting QB tools, that we must move on from.
    • The OP for one. Asserting that people blamed Bryce for the loss in the title of the thread. That was not the prevailing sentiment at the time this thread was created. Very much a minority thing, I don’t remember but maybe one person if that, putting it on Bryce as the main reason. Troll thread. Did a good job too. Look at the pages.  Someone counting up the draft picks as 10 on offense and 10 on defense or whatever the number was, today or yesterday - of which the offensive ones were heavily 1s and 2s and the defensive picks were heavily day 3 and declaring that proof that the offense wasn’t favored like people claim. The obvious neglect we watched for two years. I spent time refuting that bullshit because someone needed to.  People saying we are bad horrible people and hate poor lil Bryce for no reason, as if it is a personal thing. Constantly.   Along the same lines is people saying we non Bryce fans would rather lose than have him play well and the team wins. That we are mad when the team wins   Point illustrated.
