I thought that was pretty weird too.  You would think he'd be checking in on him asap, especially being his best player.

betcha Rivera talked to Kuechly, and just doesn't want to say anything about it because of the shitstorm he stirred up last season when he was more open about the frustrations of Kuechly's status. dude went to the funeral of Charles Johnson's grandmother, for chrissakes. he cares.
