An in-depth look at our fourth-quarter.offense (or lack thereof)

Our scoring in the fourth quarter has been so bad I laughed as I looked this up. In the fourth quarter alone...

  • We have ONE fourth-quarter touchdown in the last seven games;
  • Since the loss to the Saints, we've been out-scored 71-15 in the fourth quarter;
  • All told, we've been out-scored 136-79 and 51 of those 79 points were in three games (two of which we lost)

win over Chargers: 2-0
loss to Seahawks: 0-10
loss to Raiders: 7-11
win over Saints: 0-17
loss to Chiefs: 0-17
win over Rams: 6-10
win over Cardinals: 0-6
loss to Saints: 21-10
loss to Bucs: 0-3
loss to Falcons: 23-17
loss to Vikings: 0-6
win over 49ers: 17-15
loss to Broncos: 3-14

The funny, or not so funny part about this is you can all most feeling it coming, or not coming.

It seems to start in the 3rd quarter. If you are in the stands it feels like they are just in slow motion, no life to any of the plays.

This is at the behest of the Head Coach...IMO.

Ron would rather play risk averse football.
