What do we do about Ted Ginn this offseason

Yeah did go out there.. but hear me out.

Think about it, everyone talks about what Ginn does and how easy he can be replaced.  Tell me, other than maybe the catch against Seattle 2 years ago, what has KB /Funchess done, that we feel is unreplaceable?

Everyone assumed that KB would be an upgrade at the WR position.  I'm saying maybe he's not, or at least not the way we are using him. When both KB and funch are off the field, we are a better team.

So if we are better with them off, and better with Tedd Ginn (even with his drops), maybe the people who need the upgrade are Funchess and KB.

Valid point, and solid argument to back it up. Hard to argue against that. I said hard too, not impossible. So here goes. Dude? Really?

Long story short. Yada yada yada. Teddy doesn't need to be replaced, he needs a running mate. Derp derp derp. KB, and Funch deserve that 3rd year. Wha wha wha. Can't give up too early, gotta let kids grow. Bup bup bup. No one else should feel safe.

That's my story and I'm stickin' to it. Get Teddy some help, hope KB, and Funch finally get it. Though I think Funch is under utilized myself. And do like last year. Bring in all the WR, and let the last 2 standing, make the team. I love Philly, but if someone can beat him out. See ya Brown.

That said. Get a solid LT, an actual Stud of a DE, and we can go to war. Add in a SS that can play, and we are competitive. Get Teddy a running mate, and we can be lethal.

So yeah, we can go to war with the WR corp. we have. But, upgrading the talent level is never a bad thing. I just think we have bigger needs. Take care of them. Then let's attack that WR position with a passion.

I know you are trying to convince me that we need WR help. Cuz you are on the "Get Cam more weapons" train. And for the most part, I too can hear the whistle comin'. I gave you a LT. (Which you conveniently left out of your rebuttal.) What more do you want? Sheesh.

I bolded this to ask a question. Why do you feel the need to point out something is "My opinion" like it is a bad thing? You seem to be of the "Opinion" we need Offense. Neither holds more sway than the other. And actually, my opinion is, get more studs. Period.

IMO. The 1st round is for your Hog Mollies. If you can get your LT of the future, you dang well better grab him. If he ain't there, you go get you the DE that tickles your innards. If he ain't there, then you go Skill Position. Point being, you get you a Stud in the 1st round. And for the most part, that is exactly what Gman has done.

There are only two viable ways to get you a stud. Draft, and FA. We will have decent draft position, and some actual money to play with. I know it's fun to play the GM and all. But man, I am so anxious to see what Gman, and Ron do this off-season I can hardly stand it.

P.S. I just don't see us drafting a Stud WR in the 1st this year. Unless Gman brings in a solid LT, and a Stud DE during FA. If that were to happen. Then yeah, maybe I could see them drafting a Ginn Jr. clone. One of those fast, quick twitch, jitter bug types, who can return KOs, and Punts, and ease into the WR unit.

Sorry, once again, I kinda got carried away. Poo happens, what can I say. Happy Holidays?

This upcoming draft class for LT is weak and not deep, and where in the NFL draft handbook does it say you need to draft lineman in the first round? FYI We already have drafted defense with the majority of our early picks. Time for a change, you either adapt or die.

Unless we bring in a bonafied highly touted WR like Desean, we need to draft receivers. This draft has two great deep threats that would put our offense on a different level.

So now we need multiple WRs? Man, you are going to ride that train to the end ain't cha?

lol, dude you are something. You get so antsy to tell me I am off the reservation, that you gloss right over what I say.

I said, IMO, you get your Studs in the 1st. It is not written in stone, so take the chill level down a notch or two would ya? And maybe try to comprehend what I am saying. Why should I converse with you, if you don't pay attention to what I say?

It is funny, that you poo poo everything I say, just to harp on the "We need WR help" mantra over and over and over and over and over again. We get it. You are all in on a WR. Does not matter one whit your opinion is off kilter, and biased. You are so invested in this slant, you can't see straight.

Ah heck, rail away, and fight the good fight. I think I am done though. Plenty of folks to debate with, that actually comprehend what is being said, and don't gloss over what was said.

We have drafted multiple other players at different positions that weren't of need, so why not.

Lets be honest your a yes man and would agree with anything Gettleman does, he can draft a punter in the first and you'll agree with it. He can draft 3 receivers and you will nod your head yes and change your tune.

Let Ginn walk and draft McCaffery.

Keep Ginn on with a specialist role if he takes $1M per season.

Man, I respect your opinion but I believe Ginn is worth more than $1M. I'd like to keep him, and believe we can do so at around 2-2.5M.

So because I disagree with you, and give you my reasons why. I'm a yes man, and follow Gman blindly? So, using your logic. You are a Gman hater, and hate every move he makes? Explains why you don't listen to other people's opinions. They contradict your hatred, so they are to be dismissed. Gothca.

It's really is ok for me to believe that if you want a Stud, you had better get him early. Or that RBs taken after the 3rd round are iffy at best. I am allowed to think that our need for a legit LT, and a Stud DE, or even a strong SS far out weigh trying to upgrade at WR.

Just like it is perfectly fine for to think that upgrading the WR corp. is a main priority.

I tried having a discussion with you. I explained my opinion, more than once, and yet you still refuse to acknowledge my point. So... I am done beating my head against the wall. Have at it.

You have repeated that same sentence about 3 times already, about this being your last reply.

You come in here with your own narrative trying to devalue the WR position and when someone pushes back you don't like it. Cam needs more receiver help than we need another defensive player and that's the bottom line
