Panthers practice: --Luke Kuechly practiced --Cam Newton did NOT throw --Greg Olsen (elbow) and Charles Johnson (ham) DNP

 

Greg Olsen not out at practice today. OT Daryl Williams appears more active than last week, while Charles Johnson works on side.

Daryl Williams back at right tackle, which moves Trai Turner back to his natural spot at right guard.

 

WR Ted Ginn Jr. said Panthers still remember the Falcons ended their unbeaten season last year in Week 16.

 

Kurt Coleman disappointed he didn't get in the Pro Bowl, but doesn't want to take away from the guys who did.

Luke Kuechly says Ron Rivera made it sound like it would be a week-to-week decision. "I'm crossing my fingers."

 

Luke Kuechly: "I want to play. I think everybody knows that." If told he won't, Luke said he shifts focus to helping team from sideline.

asked about thinking about retirement after 2 concussions in 2 years, Luke says he trusts his doctors, will let it get better and appreciate everyone concerned about him, but will get back out there.

Kuechly said he appreciates concern from those who brought up retirement, but he says that's a long ways away for him.
