My thoughts on Nipple Shorts presser.

Not gonna quote OP,  but injuries didn't START us down the wrong path, Gano missing a FG started us... we just unfortunately picked up a couple serious injuries along the way.

Gano>poor coaching.

Gano single handedly cost us 3 games himself, can't blame DG for that

Could go either way Top Dawg.

And that's all I've really been saying. It's a guessing game. Some people may disagree, but Gettleman has arguably always taken the BPA in the first round, irrespective of who fans or analysts thought was the best pick regardless if we were strong or weak at a position. Star falling and being drafted by us was lucky, as was Benjamin (who I argue would be notably farther along but for an unfortunate injury). I truly believe that in that first round, Gettleman will never pass on who he considers the BPA based on need. It's not who he is, and he has basically said things pointing to the fact that during some of the drafts, we were lucky that the BPA also filled a need. He's also "begged" us to believe him when he preaches "best player available." Moreover, I would argue that the most important "tips" that you will Garner from Getty are not necessarily in his words, which are important also, but in the visits. His draft history plays a part in this as well.

Here is an interesting article before last year's draft that mentioned Vernon Butler several times as a viable prospect. You may or may not find it interesting, but any clue this time of year is fun to me.

I agree we could very well take Adams, and he's my initial guess, but I wouldn't bet anything of substance that he's the one. Just like Fournette and  Barnett, he could be gone. Some initial mocks have both Adams and Hooker off the board when we pick, because safety is arguably a huge need for the Jags and Chargers. Luckily for us, there are some good products later that would arguably be good fits like Fish Smithson, Obi Melifonwu and Budda Baker (three that I don't believe should be overlooked).

Keep your eyes on the visits (and, of course, FA)!
