I think he will be special, I just don't think he is ahead of Trubisky

In a perfect world, both of them, plus 1 more QB gets picked in the top 7 !!! Doubtful, but a guy can dream. The Browns, the 49er's, and the Jets are known for making dumba$$ decisions.

Imo, that would be incredibly smart on Cleveland's part. You get a stud at DE while and can use some of that stockpile of picks to move up and get another starter.

Yeah, but the Browns haven't made a smart decision since Kevin Costner was GM.

but...there probably would be a decent QB still at 12.

Kizer is a pretty damn good prospect. He will go very high unless one of those Laremy Tunsil video comes out of him on draft day. He's not getting out the top 15.

Cleveland, SF and NYJ all need QBs. Even though this is a pretty deep class of QB, there's a drop off based on talents after Mitch, Watson, and Kizer. Pretty big drop off.

I cant see the these rebuilding teams going in a different direction. If you could get one of those three, you got to take it. Not a smart front office move to take a chance on a Chad Kelly, Kaaya, or Mahomes in the 2nd. NYJ tried that with Geno, Petty and Hackebnerg already.

Eagles taking Wentz with the no2 pick will only force those teams to take a QB early.

SF, Cleveland and NYJ have stockpiled on defensive players recently.

seeing what the cowboys did by picking Dak late, I wonder if other teams follow suit and qbs actually drop this year.

2 things, everyone not in Dallas knew that they had a damn good offense and Romo was a choke artist. Standing behind that O-line definitely lessens the learning curve for a rookie QB.

Second, they got damn lucky! I assume they were looking at Dak as a possible backup. Jerry likes big names too much to actually expect a late round QB to work out.

Answered the question, if there was one.
