Is moving a modem that simple or is there more to the story?

Upgrading the modem and i want to move out of my old office which is now a kids bedroom and move it to the living room.

Its cable Internet and the office has had the modem for several years.

There's a coaxial in the living room but i dont have cable anymore.  Just roku and vue etc.

It seems almost too easy to just move the modem and use the existing cable. Or am i missing something?

Yeah, all the signal goes through the same line. As long as the cable runs to that jack.

I have noticed the last week that at 10pm suddenly my connection gets a bit wonky and i usually NEVER have issues with my wifi. Sosomethings up.
