This team is crap!

Couldn't get the upper hand against a team that had its own head firmly stuffed up it's own ass for an entire half. You're getting chewed up late by a 3rd fuging string running back. Meanwhile, our "star" running game that's comprised of two first round running backs and tackles and a road-grading oline has accumulated a grand total of 63 yards late in the fourth and Stewart has negative yardage right now. The defense cannot tackle worth a fuging poo and look completely inept, and Fox has the look of a man who has just lost his life savings overnight on Wall Street.

I haven't watched a game in a while where Delhomme was the least of my concerns but it seems like the rest of these guys are trying very hard to win a game called "I can suck better than you".

You are all failures, top to bottom.

The PLAYCALLING is sh*t.

They play like a 7-0 lead is 24-0.

TRY TO PUT A FREAKING TEAM AWAY WHEN YOU'VE GOT THEM DOWN.

BUT, NOOO. Your OFFENSIVE PROTECT THE BALL PHILOSOPHY says you should play NOT TO LOSE, and you always do when you do that crap.

F*CK JEFF DAVIDSON AND THAT RETARDED JOHN FOX!

I have been resisting the urge to jump on the F*ck Fox bandwagon, but after tonight, I am on it. We completely lack the "punch them in the mouth" mentality that set us apart from 31 other teams in the NFL during our late 90s and SB run.

Sure we are missing folks along the D line .. understood.. but Godfrey is a f'in joke.. Teal is mediocre - Beason and Davis are the only players that start on defense that act like they give a sh*t what happens from the 1st minute to the last minute. Peppers is paid too much money to get 1 tackle and 1 assist. I saw a missed tackle on a big run by Jones that he missed and he jogged down to the spot where Jones ended up being pushed out of bounds. Jogged? WTF?

Jake is obviously not back from injury.. he has no zip on his throws - and while I respect his attitude and guts, he just doesn't seem to have it anymore. And where did the gd run go tonight? We have no injuries on the line, we're built to road grade, so why go up 7 -0 and start forcing throws? Go routes to Moose? Seriously?

Don't get me started on ST. They are a joke. PERIOD.

Dallas made changes at halftime.. let's face it, Fox and Co NEVER make changes. EVER.

Unless this junk gets changed - and MOST ricky tick - Fox has to go. Davidson with him. Meeks probably as well. And Hurney. We need new leadership and someone with new direction. "Swagger" seems to be the new buzzword... I'm not sure we need swagger.. we just need a coach that undertstands how to punch someone straight in the mouth and beat the hell out of a team for 60mins. Win or lose, but chew ass for bullshit effort. And that's all I saw tonight from most of the Cats.

I like this post. Anybody that says anything good about this game or about any game until we win is a dumbass... Im tired of hearing so and so looked good tonight... You win as a team and you lose as a team... And the panthers team sucks ass right now. 95% of the people on this forum are Delusional. I hope to god they open their eyes after this game.

the press conferences are embarrassing.

watching Fox and Delhomme answer questions is like watching a guy try to explain to his wife why he was just caught with his dick in his secretary's twat.

Bravo. Seven years in of Fox and Delhomme and this is the best description of their press conferences after losses that I've heard.

I can honestly say, I was happy with the defense until the second half. They looked rather good out there, but after our O stalled yet again, they got tired and it showed. Every other phase of our game blew donkeys though, including our run game, and Jake was awful yet again. Sorry nuthuggers, but 2 terrific throws does not make up for the other shitty 32.

And don't get me even started on the special teams play. Baker? Wanna actually put up a few that have something called hang time? Makes it easier for your coverage units to, you know, actually get to the fuging returner. Pictures of Fox with farm animals.. it's the only explanation as to why that retarded chimpanzee is stilll coaching our special teams.

I agree with it all in this thread also. I am officially on the fire Fox bandwagon. I am tired of this brand of football. Even when they were 12-4 last year was saw this type of crap.......

... the defense constantly getting shredded. I dont think they have held an offfense to a 3 and out once this season.

... the offense is just blahhhhhh. Two great RB's and a total of like 16 carries all game.

.... A good kickoff return is taking a knee so you can start your drive on the 20 instead of the 15. (at least last year Mark Jones could get to the 30yrd line and sometimes did much better.

--- Punt coverage is horrible.

.... on and on I could go. All phases of the game suck. I am tired of watching this brand of football and its time for the Fox era to end. It saddens me that into week 3 of the season and I am already looking forward to the the next one.

    • Not football related, but UNC basketball player Seth Trimble used his NIL money to buy the Ben & Jerry's franchise on Franklin Street in Chapel Hill. https://www.tarheelblog.com/unc-basketball/46475/seth-trimble-now-owns-ben-jerrys-in-chapel-hill Definitely a smarter move than buying a Lambo.
    • I was bored at work today so I typed up my ideas for CFB realignment: D1 college football would be split into 2 tiers of 5 conferences each: Power 5 (P5) and Group of 5 (G5) conferences. To bring the total number of FBS teams to an even 140, the following FCS teams would make the moved up into the G5 tier: North Dakota State, South Dakota State, Montana State and Sacramento State. The P5 tier would consist of 50 teams with 10 teams per conference. Every team would play every other team in it's conference every year. There would be no conference championship games in P5 tier since teams will play each other during the season to provide the head-to-head tie breaker. The G5 tier would consist of 90 teams in 5 conferences of 18 teams split into 2 divisions. Teams would play every team in their division every year along with teams from the other division on a rotating schedule. G5 conference championship games would be held the week following the Army-Navy game between the two division winners from each G5 conference. In the event that Army and Navy are the two division winners in the American conference, the Army-Navy game itself would decide the conference championship. P5 tier would retain the current 12-team playoff structure and seeding rules with the existing Bowl Game rotation remaining in place. G5 tier would use a 16-team playoff with conference champions guaranteed the top-5 seeds + homefield advantage in the 1st round. Seeds 6-16 would be decided by national rankings. Homefield advantage would be decided by seeding in the 2nd round with the G5 National Championship held at a neutral site. There would be a promotion/relegation system in place. Each P5 conference would have a satellite conference in the G5 as follows:  - ACC/American  - Big 10/MAC  - PAC/MWC  - SEC/Sun Belt  - SWC/C-USA Every 5 years the team in each P5 conference with the worst W-L record over the previous 5 seasons would be relegated to their conference's G5 satellite. Likewise, the team with the best W-L record during the previous 5 seasons will be moved up into the P5. Any other movement of teams between conferences would be subject to approval by the CFB Competition Committee and teams are only permitted to switch conferences once every 10 years. The Walter Camp Award will be awarded to the best player in P5 tier. The Maxwell Award will serve as the G5's equivalent award. The Heisman Trophy will be awarded to the best player in the nation, regardless of conference or tier. POWER 5 CONFERENCES: ACC: Clemson Duke Florida State Miami N.C.
