Stuff is happening way to often, I was a collegiate athlete and faced several similar situations, now I wasn't a future NFL prospect, but certain females in that age range mostly (assuming alcohol was involved) do tend to get violent and verbally threatening to athletes. Almost daring them to react. Now older I would have to say Yes walking away is the best and smartest move.  But when your 18-22 athlete getting limelight and potential fame these females are almost daring these athletes to react to get their own "benefits" or attention.  We didn't have social media and camera on phones when I was in college so the worries of someone posting the reaction to social media for air time wasn't a worry.  Buts its been he case for men vs women as long as time.  Men will lose that battle majority of the time.  But back to my point, young athletes in these situations being threaten, hit, racial slurs, etc. being dared to respond, its almost impossible to pathom the smartest move and walking away.  I saw it both sides in school. some ended the way they needed to and some didn't...

Its an unfortunate situation for both Mixon and the young lady.  We can all sit here and say what we "would have done" as the peanut gallery. but hey my 2 cents.

I really don't care what a person on a panthers forum thinks of me.  First off, I would never of gotten in an incident like this.  Because, I'm older and don't hang out with drama queens/sluts.  Now, being younger, and single.  I probably would've because I was looking to get laid.  Which looked like what Mixon was trying to do.  But, I'm not judging a man that was belittle, called a racial slur, spit on, and hit.  He'll get picked by someone, have his head on straight, and be a damn good NFL player.  But yet, because of one incident, he's a piece of poo huh?  sure.

I just beleive in 2nd chances and not taking moral high grounds if i wasn' t in that situation..

I can say i would do that or this if it was me..

But honestly i be lying.. I don't know how i would have reacted at 18.. I know i wasn't always making great decision thoe.. And that's my point.

He was definitely a piece of poo for doing what he did.  He is young dumb, and full of cum. 

I do believe in second chances. The kid will get one, and I pray that he makes the most of it. 

It does, however, take him off the Panthers draft board, as it should.
