Derek Barnett out of drills due to illness

This bothers me none, but it will some.  If we go Fournette or other at 8 will be interesting to see what happens after that with Barnett.

I say he fall out of the top 15. 

 

Maybe, even the 1st. Imo, Emmanuel Ogbah and Kevin Dodd were better prospects. They both fell out.

I'm not on the Barnett train but to say those 2 were better is crazy talk.

 

i have him going to the Ravens.  He's a better fit as a 3-4 edge rusher ala Demarcus Ware.   Ware is 258 like Barnett at 259.

Ogbah and Dodd were bigger and stiffer.  Both of those guys are more 4-3 guys, but still not as talented overall as Barnett

But Ogbah got drafted to play OLB right?  There was a time when Ogbah was mentioned as the no1 pick.

He got drafted as a edge rusher.  Browns picked bpa.  They tried him at 3-4 OLB to start and that stiffness everyone talked about showed.  Looked bad and they moved him to DE even in a 3-4
