Wicked weed sold out to anheuser busch. You're gonna be able to buy that beer anywhere soon. To say the locals are PISSED is an understatement. Busch is the devil for craft beer people. They have gone out of their way to try and crush the little guy as much as possible. This may sound snobby but it's not. Keep it local, pump money into the economy and to the people who live in Asheville and started their own business. Tons of other amazing local breweries to choose from.

mellow mushroom is probably the last place I'd recommend to eat in Asheville. Try local places. King daddy's, bonfire BBQ, tupelo honey, biscuit head, salsa's, farmburger, ABC or Barleys pizza.

Yeah screw Wicked Weed. Not a bad list of restaurants besides tupelo honey which isn't what it used to be.. I would add Rocky's Hot Chicken Shack and Papa's and Beer (the one on brevard rd) to that list.. I'm literally addicted to Rocky's

Will have to give that a go next time! Sounds amazing.. I always get the Hot Tenders with the zippy ranch. Been wanting to branch out some but those tenders are just too damn good to give me a need to order anything else!

The St Patty's Day bar crawl in Charlotte is off the chain.

There are a lot of great vineyards in the Triad if you're into wine.

Make sure to take a family vacation and rent you a house on the beach off the southern coast of NC sometime in late August or September when the crowds die down. My favorites are Sunset Beach, Oak Island, and Ocean Isle Beach. The water is perfect that time of year and the golfing is fantastic. There is also great sea food in that area.

    • In all honesty, no one knows if Dan really pushed for Bryce to be drafted. It's not fair to Dan to say that just because he was a part of the Fitterer regime then he was in full support of drafting Bryce. If the HC, Reich at the time really wanted Stroud but got bullied into drafting Bryce then Dan had even less say so in the matter. Dan was also saddled with giving Bryce an opportunity to compete in years 2/3 because of the cost to trade up and get him by ownership.  Outside of managing the QB position, Dan has made good moves and built a decent roster. Solidified the O-line and D-line, drafted contributors, and made good trades (Mike Jackson), and free agent signings (Dowdle). I do believe that this offseason will be really important for Dan and we'll see whose side he is clearly on. Bryce has had plenty of time and opportunity to prove himself and he has failed, if Dan is a Bryce homer he'll give him another year and pick up the 5th year option. If Dan isn't a Bryce homer, he'll move on from Bryce. Either way, we'll find out this offseason.
    • You also have to extend him and probably deal/cut Bryce
    • Jones would be what he is if he was on this team, a fairly middle of the road game manager. Still and upgrade but probably not worth the price the 49ers may want for him. If it's not something stupid in terms of ask and he doesn't want something even more stupid in terms of longish term contract, I am okay with a middling game manager until we can do better through the draft. The one thing that wouldn't be terrible is some stability at QB. That has almost never happened under Tepper.
