Admittedly I could have worded it a little better and expounded on it more.

Just felt that it was a valid discussion considering the stereotypes black quarterbacks endure, which I have seen firsthand with Newton.

I'm not talking about how good they were 5 years ago. As of right this second, Fitz is better and has more value. Obviously the NFL agrees since Fitz has a job and Kaperprick doesn't.

I really don't see how anyone could argue Fitz being better than Kaep..SF had some of the worst talent on that team in the league last year and he still managed to be a serviceable QB

The guy he beat out got back in the league before him..

Well, let's see. One has a job and one doesn't. I'd say that's a pretty good argument. Fitz was bad last year, but the 2 years before he had pretty good seasons. He is a different style QB than Kaep, and more valuable in the NFL right now - obviously, since he has a job.

Him having a job isn't a direct indicator he's better..That logic is faulty because NFL GMs do not evaluate players strictly from an ability standpoint when they consider signing a player.
