Captain Munnerlyn tweaked his hammy doing extra work with his trainer in Alabama. Doesn't seem to be worried about it.

 

Captain Munnerlyn: "They are taking it slow with my hamstring. Tweaked it running with my trainer but I feel fine."

Captain says he ran the conditioning test despite sore hamstring. Thought he could practice last night, but trainers being cautious.

 

 

Munnerlyn: "We are trying to win now. This organization wants to get back to the Super Bowl and win it."

 

Captain says offseason moves- bringing in lots of vets- & grabbing good draft guys- Panthers trying to get back to SB now

Munnerlyn: "We are trying to win now. This team was a great team already, were just missing a couple pieces."

Captain: It's hard to win in the NFL with two rookie corners. Says he's seen a ton of growth in them

 

This will be surprising, but Captain is talking with a whole lot of energy.

 

Munnerlyn thinks starting rookie corners really hurt the Panthers last year.

 

Captain says other vet QBs licking their chops when Panthers had two rookie corners. Said they did a great job but it's tough

Captain said he’s talked to Funchess and “we’re actually pretty cool.”

 

 

Munnerlyn says he's buried the hatchet with Devin Funchess, who he called out last year. Says "he can be a great receiver in this league."

 

 

When asked if he embraces this leadership role? Oh most definitely. My name is Captain

On his 28th birthday, Trevor Graham - now the oldest WR on the roster - says getting older is the reason he switched from TJ.

Graham, 28, is the oldest receiver on the roster. But, he adds, he thinks he's one of the fastest guys in the NFL.

 

 

What's the goal for Trevor Graham? "Just run really fast.  And keep my wife in line...I make the schedules."
