Still sad we didn't get George Kittle

Same

Him, Jordan Willis, and Godwin were my later post mid 2nd draft crushes.

Kittle seems to being doing good

Godwin is really getting raves from Tampa camp

And Willis who just went a few spots before Hall. Everyone is talking about Barnette but Willis has been nasty also recording a sack in every preseason game really putting oressurre on QBs

If I were GM and watch how the draft was unfolding.  I would be traded down in the 2ns to pick a 3rd comp from someone.

Gone Moton, Godwin in 2nd.  Traded up like for Hall but to try to get Willis.  Dede Westbrook with the comp.  Trade up in 5th for Kittle.  But hey this isn't Madden and I'm not a NFL GM.

Can't change the past though.

Moton looks like he is going to be a stud

Hall has shown plenty of potential

And Corn was really turning heads prior to the injury.

    • It’s summer league, so take it with a grain of salt. But have to admit the team has played really well and been fun to watch. Agreed, take what we can get.
    • There are a very few number of legitimate NFL level QB's on this planet. I'm not saying he is not capable of being a backup still given that very limited number. All I'm saying is some people can choose to look at the reality glass half full or glass half empty. I'm relatively trying to remain near the middle. I do appreciate that he has experience with which he can pass on to Bryce. But I think his resume is being put on a level that does not line up. It's interesting you mentioned Flacco. I'd take him mentoring the Panthers starting QB in a heartbeat. At least Joe has won in the playoffs. And won a Super Bowl to boot. He might have only had success largely in that season but man what a run he led that offense on. I can respect that. I'm not saying I don't like or respect Andy. I do like him. And he's a ginger. But as a local fan who has seen losing losing losing mediocrity and a few very short lived seasons of potential greatness. Give me any ounce of greatness every time. Then we can hang our hat on mentoring at some level. That's my position and all I'm trying to convey. Thanks for the chat.
