That's an average of what, 2 and a half sacks a game?

Clearly Newton's accuracy is more off than in previous years. I imagine some of that would possibly have something to do with recovery from surgery on his throwing shoulder, but that might be crazy talk.

But other than Cam's accuracy being up and down, we were still in position to win many times today. Even with that, if there was more opportune playcalling, and better OL play at crucial points in the game, I think we could have won. Especially if either or both of those potential interceptions that Luke and TD were unable to haul in were caught. That's not even mentioning how badly our secondary was abused. This loss was a definite group effort.

If Newton doesn't care about football why the hell would he make so much of an effort to get into the best overall shape of his career and life the same offseason he had shoulder surgery?
