    • You're right. The QB and playcaller have alot of input too.  But screens are a tell. That's just a guy being a playmaker. It was bad. And Canales knew it. You should be able to call a screen to make defenses stop blitzing and being so aggressive. He even tried to get the little speed guy involved at the end of the season because none of the regulars could do anything with the ball in their hands. They had tons of opportunities to make plays and rarely ever delivered. Diontae was elusive, but... Sanders and Tremble seemed like the biggest YAC guys after he left. I remember one play when Legette made a few guys miss, and one long run on a busted coverage by Coker. Neither of them were screens. I honestly can't recall another play where receivers outran defenders after the catch or shook guys in the open field. That puts a lot of pressure on the QB to constantly move the chains when teams stack the box.
    • I hated that too. And I'm not interested in any "player safety" bullsh-t coming from a league that keeps trying to add more games and refuses to prioritize grass playing surfaces.
    • He's ranked ahead of some pretty decent names. I didn't honestly think Center was the most ideal spot for him (still not sure) but that's cool. Yeah...ugh 😣
