you can't trade Stewart.   You can only cut or demote him.

I still maintain Stewart should essentially be Mike Tolbert now.  Short yardage HB.  Maybe let him come in on pass protection downs too some.

I don't think we need defined starters or roles. Roll with the hot hand. CMC is tearing it up like yesterday? Keep feeding it to him, don't go to Stewart (11 carries, 27 yards) other than short-yardage situations. On the other hand if Stewart is tearing it up like against Miami or Minnesota, give it to him and stick McCaffery at slot.
