They could engineer an opening and closing “ dome-ish” structure over the current stadium. That would be unique and the optics could be a potential game changer if done correctly.

But can current stadium construction stay sturdy after all that extra weight is added. A lot of renovation work would have to be done to support that overhead weight.

If there is enough land around my thought would be that it would be anchored to the ground. Let’s keep brainstorming though

I grew up in NC and got out when that decided to deep throat Jesus. After that its been mismanaged state budgets, monitoring bathroom use, making science illegal, and a lot of hatred

None of that is really true, but we sure are glad we can take your ass off the roster.

Some of those stories may be written by people that give their opinions on what they think is happening. Only one story may be more truthful since ABC News is part of that story. The bathroom story is weird anyway with new signs on the entrances to bathrooms which makes people uneasy when they have to use it having transgender using it at same time.

Meh, should SC also contribute to upgrades to the Falcons, Cowboys, or Steelers facilities? Outside of TC (which I'm sure Spartanburg and Wofford already incentivize), SC reaps no direct benefit from the Panthers. SC gets no tax revenue nor any gameday economic benefits. Sure, the Panthers are most likely the most popular NFL team in SC, but SC benefits only indirectly, i.e. the same way it benefits when some SC store sells a Falcons shirt, or if some transplant goes to their local sports bar to watch the Steelers. If SC should "contribute" to pro football, it should more appropriately contribute to the league as a whole.

You don't think SC sees any boost in tax revenue?  So you think any out of towner who comes to watch a Panthers game stays in a Charlotte hotel...where literally everything is more expensive.  I guarantee you York County sees a huge increase in tax revenue.
