LOL! Because the Panthers are just so much better than us!

Get a clue!

lets see. you haven't won a game since we dominated your team on MNF. Your defense is garbage. and your offense is worse than ours (and ours is really bad right now). U guys winning is an upset. at least we have a win.

I'll bet there were a bunch of Redskins fans saying that if they can't beat the 0-3 Panthers, then Zorn should be fired. The thing is though, you can't really go by records most of the time. Football is about how your team matches up with the other team, not stats or records. Sure, the top 5 teams will almost surely beat the bottom 5 teams on any given week, but that's not the situation here. Therefore, I expect this to be a typical NFC South dogfight that could go either way. To say that one team has a big advantage over the other is foolish.

you haven't watched any buc games this season have you? all i am saying is this team has alot more talent than the bucs, and they do. We have better recievers, we have the better defense, and despite popular belief, we have the better QB. its a matter of better play-calling and offensive line play in my opinion that is holding this team back. Even though we haven't lived up to expectations, we are a better team than the Tampa Bay Bucanners (sp.) and imo, the Washington Redskins.

I mean add the end of the day....the Bucs cleaned house and simply aren't very good at the moment. The Panthers have just been playing bad football......they currently have better people in place. Panthers should win....doesn't mean they will.

    • Jake in his prime was a gutsy QB. But just like with even someone like Cam. Father time is undefeated. It's very unfortunate we have a guy who is only 24 years old that has an equivalent arm to that. Absolutely blows my mind that our brain trust lacked the basic common sense to value arm talent when making a massive trade with ramifications for years to come. Unforgivable incompetence.
    • Jake, to me, will always hold a special place in my heart.  I really feel like for his era, he deserved way more love than he got, and should’ve had more than his one Pro Bowl.  He was a gamer with an underrated rocket arm. but let me tell you, after his Tommy John surgery, when he came back, I can’t remember who it was against, but it think it was a division game, he threw a ball that was supposed to be a throw away, as I think he was under pressure, and that poo floated forever and died right at the boundary where a defender ran over and picked it off.  One of the worst throws I ever saw.  His arm just wasn’t the same after the injury and surgery.  All that to say, that’s what almost every Bryce throw to the sidelines looks like to me.
    • And again, when watching him in college he had one distinct trait that I feel makes a franchise QB - on those plays when everything breaks down around him, he creates one on his own.  He doesn’t rely on or need everyone else.  That play last night on the final drive where he was getting sacked and threw it to Diggs before his knee hit the ground?  He does similar things all the time.  Mahomes, Allen, Lamar, etc., they all do it.  It’s what made Cam so special. but we picked a guy that’s the opposite of that.  He desperately needs someone else to make a play for him because he can’t.  Even that play yesterday on 4th down to Horn.  That wasn’t a great pass.  The defender was late and came down to make a play in the ball and Bryce threw it high and outside where Horn had to leave his feet and really use strong hands to catch it.  We relied on a 5’9” rookie playing in his first pro game to make THAT catch at THAT time bc of the early turnovers and a not great throw.  Crazy.
