Well not sure how far back - but for the last 3 years at least - League MVP in the SB has lost.

the MVP is one person on a winning team that without, that team would probably not even make the playoffs.

Brady,.. wentz played awesome but Foles just threw lights out, and ultimately the defense decided the winning team.

Cam— take him off the 2015 Panthers and start Derek Anderson,.. do we make the playoffs? Maybe, probably not.

denver beat us with their defense.

the MVP, heavily stat driven is also a reflection of that quarterback having to do too much.

get to the Super Bowl and the better defense and more complete team usually beats the one man show.
