I mean, now Panama City Beach even sucks for Spring Break. What is this poo?

There was a really good documentary on spring break in Florida from the mid 80s to mid 90s. I wish I could remember the name of it. MTV was a major player in the early 90s. The drinking laws were to get the kids out. The money wasn't worth it anymore for the trouble the kids caused.

Best I can tell, about 15-20 years ago, MTV went for the 14-year old girl demographic and never came back. Heck, until you said something, I wasn't even sure it still existed as a channel.

It happened around 2003-2005 from what I gather. It just went to poo. Supposedly, hey still have it. But it’s on MTVU, which I did not know existed until today.

MTV died for me when they had to change from being a radio station on TV into a TV station that played some stuff that was on the radio.

I actually got to tour it and be on MTV my senior year, 1982, right before they turned into a national phenomenon. When we visited the VJs didn't think anyone was watching it, while my buddies and I had it on like 5 hours a day

Thats Nina Blackwood in the middle she was so cool, they all were - got to play Space Duel on the set with JJ Jackson and we introduced a Split Enz video with Alan Hunter!

    • Got to give some credit to the coaching staff on these. You can grab top talents but without good coaching, they just fizzle out. We've seen that a lot around here.
    • Oh, no TV for tonight's game unless you have the NHL Network, I believe. I could be wrong, hopefully?
    • Early returns are great and exciting but also worth noting that Gettleman had a few drafts that looked incredible early on and wound up mostly sucking (2014 mainly). Also PFF; grain of salt, etc.    I'm completely sold on Tet being a stud, knocked a high pick out of the park like we needed to and always should. Nearly sold on Scourton. Not sold on Princely but he had flashes. Not sold on Etienne as more than a 3rd stringer and special teamer, but that's not terrible for his draft position. Big fan of Ransom and think he'll be a starter.  Cam Jackson : IDK, I see limited upside but we didn't see much of him Evans was a nice find for draft position and he had a great rookie year for a late round rookie TE with plenty of veteran competition. Not sure about his upside though, seems like best case is a long term #2/3 TE, which isn't bad. Jimmy Horn, personally I didn't see a damn thing from him that impressed me all year. And he got a lot of opportunities. Pulling for the kid, but not convinced he's an NFLer.   UDFA: Fitzgerald was an amazing find
