First day of Free Agency is about done. What do you guys think of Carlos Hyde as an option?

I know. Injuries, and he's a little older. But, he's only 27 years old going on 28. And would only cost 2-3 million per season (probably two years tops). 

Would you guys take a flyer on him, and save that RB pick in the Draft for another position of need? Just a thought.

He will make around 6-7 mil the way free agency is going this year.

Certainly could be less and I like Hyde so good idea but somebody will probably pay him decent money.  Injuries obvoiusly hurt his chances at a long term deal.

That's why I was thinking 2 years 2-3 mill per. 3 mill guaranteed. If he warrants more than that, you have to take it at his age.

And while everybody is thinking "late round RB" we did that with CAP. And how has that worked out?

I think that's probably not going to happen unless we cut somebody else to clear some room.

I just see too many needs to spend millions per year on a backup RB.

Is 2-3 mill really that much though? We release Fozzy, we can pay someone that easily. And Shepard while I’m at it.
