Bears @ Falcons

Dimbee, what are your thoughts on Cutler? He's got an arm but to me, he seems to think he can make every pass, no matter how small the window.

But he is a lot better than Jake.

I like him a lot. His confidence (and rocket launcher arm) is what makes him the QB that he is. I want him to be smarter with the ball, but I don't want to neuter him.

For being 5 games into the season with a new team, I have no complaints right now... if we can get our running game on track, we can be very dangerous by the end of the season...

it just surprises me how bad your running game is this year. What is it...the Offensive line or 8 men in the box? You guys can do so much better, and damnit I wish you would have beaten the falcons!!:D

Oline plus Forte looks different this year. Tentative.

I will go ahead and admit now that I am one of those crazy people that can't watch night games, get too worked up and can't fall asleep.

Plus, I knew this game was gonna be tight all the way to the end so I didn't watch it.

It pretty much played out exactly as I expected, from the post mortems on the net and radio. :(

Yeah, i agree with this. You have to take the good with the bad with Cutler.

    • Saints - I see a win here.  Kamara has been banged up, their speed is gone with Shaheed, Shough is a rookie.  They could pull it off if their D holds us under 15. Falcons - Falcons have been a pure hot/cold team this year.  Beating the Bills and getting swamped by our squad.  There's a a chance they fire back on their home turf.  Toss up.   49ers - I think this is winnable depending on Purdy/Pearsall.  They've been rotating through injuries nearly every week.  Minus a very healthy CMC this year.  Another toss up. Rams - Rams are damn good but they're a team that can be caught in off weeks.  Although, I don't see that happening.  Not the best matchup for us. Saints V.2 - Another winnable Bucs - Division, anything is possible Seahawks - If they continue playing this way, could be ugly. Bucs - Division battle but they could have it wrapped up by this point and could be a W. - I see 3 games that I have a very hard time seeing us win (Seahawks 1 of the Bucs, and the Rams) That makes best case, a 10-7 season possible.  Probably not enough for the playoff given the NFC this year. A reasonable expectation is 3 wins from this bunch and we end up 8-9.  Would hate to see 7-10 or worse.  We're trending up and have guys that are improving.
    • Give him this week off. Last thing we need is to have our stud rookie WR having chronic hamstring issues. Every time you tweak a hammy, you’re a lot more prone to another injury reoccurring.
