2 TE set scheme approach : Philly & Ravens

Looks like couple of NFL teams are going back to this scheme Philly picked up Godert when they alread have Ertz as #1.

Meanwhile Ravens went and got Hayden Hurst & Mark Andrews, 2 TE set FTW!

1 thing in common they have is a SB ring, something Panthers don't have.

Yeah, but dude is old ass hell. Did he even do anything last year?

Caught 3 tds last year... not what he was of course. But has the norv connection and with Olsen it's not like he has to be the guy. To me you're generally only throwing to the 2nd te if the plays breaking down, everyone else is covered, or you're just trying to surprise the other team.  Bet he could catch the wide open red zone and third down catches Dickson couldn't. I'd Like it it on a very team friendly one year deal and still draft a young guy to groom. Would give us another endzone threat at worst case to go with Olsen and funchess since our other receivers are smaller

He would be joining a team where he knows he’s the #2 option but has a chance at a playoff run. Playing with a former coordinator could make him effective. I think he’d be at least equivalent to Dickson.

    • What people fail to understand is Lance had a college career that lasted about as long as teenage boys first intercourse.  To say he was raw was an understatement.  So much so that even a QB whisperer had a difficult time molding him into a polished NFL product on top of multiple nagging injuries.  The dud is in his mid-twenties, finally healthy and little miles on the tread.  Low risk, high reward.  If he's available, it would be stupid not to kick the tires.  It took Darnold and Mayfield to hit their 3rd or 4th team for things to finally click.  This is Lance's 3rd stop, I believe.  It's either time for it to click for him or be relegated to a full time backup. Roll the dice....
    • Wrong.  At least we put a QB sneak in the play book and and add plays over 20 yards.
    • I don’t know if people realize that Evan’s was one of the top TE prospects in college  before having some horrible injuries. I wanna say he had two major injuries in back to back seasons which limited his play and dropped his draft stock.
