More push for a practice facility?

Today's injury could certainly lead to more attention on that topic.

Jonathan Jones also pointed out that in the era of football espoinage by teams like the Patriots, a practice facility makes additional sense in that it allows you to preserve secrecy. Much more so than say, an open field that's easily visible from several nearby buildings.

Jones is also on the bandwagon that whether a new facility is finished or not, after next year Spartanburg is out.

I've been saying Panthers need to train in Charlotte, build a training facility in Charlotte YEARS ago. Panthers unfortunately just always do things the different way. Now that JR is gone, Panthers can do things the more sensible way

One year in particular, Panthers PR cracked down overly-specific on-site media tweets regarding formations and personnel. That’s great, but there still hundreds of fans watching the same stuff behind the media, tweeting out videos of the same stuff. Granted, the media’s tweets have more reach, but it still felt really stupid.

The whole thing is a little stupid, if you think about.
