Eugene Robinson says players will have to “know their role”

I hope this means “Torrey Smith’s role is to provide vet leadership and mentor the young guys. I hope he doesn’t get butthurt at his lack of snaps.” Knowing our team though, it’s probably more of a message to our younger guys; “The guy getting the snaps has earned it based on age and contract, never mind the lack of production.”

I fear it's more of a:

"Yes, Samuel has looked great in camp, and in the games, but he is still young and learning.  We are a veteran team, and can't afford to make mistakes early in the season when playing in the NFC South.  Torrey and Funchess will be our starters, and DJ and Curtis will see some time.  When you have GO, CMC, and Funchess, there just aren't a ton of balls to go around."

Signed,

I swear if I would love for Tepper to get rid of Mixon at the end of the season. He drives me crazy.  Every time I here Mixon say his corny “QB1” phrase I just want to strangle my tv.

Last game, I got some pretty valuable information about the moon and how it impacts the tides and the Hubble Space Telescope. -- and YOU want to take that away from me--from us!!!???

I get the feeling I’m the only Panther fan in the world that doesn’t mind Mick and is just fine with his broadcasts. He’s not the greatest in the world but I don’t find him nearly as obnoxious as the rest of you seem to. He’s just a UNIQUE kind of guy. I’ve heard far worse, plus that voice just reminds me of my childhood listening to him and Woody call games on the radio.

I might add though that it’s been almost 5 years since I’ve been able to go to a football game of ANY KIND and Mick has been one of my few connections to our team when I’m stuck at work and trying to catch the game.... soooo maybe that’s part of it. I’ve listened to so much of it he never phases me anymore. Idk. Don’t care though, I’m fine with him.
