Why not throw to DeAngelo more?

I said "MORE"...

We have yet to get that "big" play this season, I think if you get him the ball more in open space then maybe we will start seeing some of those big plays

Look at my post for Fiz. In Tampa fully 75% of the offense touches went to Stewart and Williams. That seems like plenty of touches to make a big play. There are other offensive weapons on the team.

Maybe Delhomme should hand the ball off to Moose and Smitty more. I have noticed that Stewart and Williams are getting almost all of the running plays. What the hell is Delhomme thinking anyway?

Or maybe just 89 out of the Wildcat like I do in Madden.

ok- how about "Pass" to him "More" :)

So are you advocating we let him run less? You can only spread the ball out so many ways. If Stewart and Williams in Tampa accounted for 75% of the total plays, what was left for everyone else? 16 plays out of 65. Williams is getting his fair share of the ball.

Thank you head of CAWC.

Can I join the Committee?

+1

Reception stats can be deceiving. Williams is the best player on this team when in space, and Davidson does not make enough of an attempt to get him the ball more.

This offense should not be mostly about getting Steve Smith the ball in space anymore. It should be getting Williams the ball.

I agree.

That was when Henning was calling the plays though. I haven't seen a screen work like that yet with Davidson calling the plays. I'm sure it's somehow Fox and Delhommes fault though. Nevermind that they were both here in 06.

yeah, how Davidson doesn't have some legit RB screens designed into his playbook is crazy. Look at the damage they can do around the league (Steve Slaton this past week comes to mind).

    • Oh I was.  But we still had great players.
    • You keep AT unless he WANTS to get traded to a contender during the season.  He's valuable, TET, XL, and Coker need to learn how to be PROFESSIONALS on game day, practice, and the off-season.  That's what you get from AT.  ADDITIONALLY, he is clutch.  He is steady.  At is that savvy vet who will always flash. I really think they keep 7 WR's if Brycen can operate on special teams.  Week 1 you may see us heavy on WR and OL because of the massive amount of injuries across the league.  Renfrow may even be cool starting on the PS since he lives close and wouldn't need to uproot his family.  You can still make nearly 400K as a vested veteran on an NFL practice squad.  You see more veterans hanging around since the age limit was lifted. I think the 1st 53 and PS looks like so...... Offense: (25) QB (2) Young / Dalton RB (3) Chuba/Rico/Etienee WR (7) T-Mac/XL/AT/Coaker/Renfrow/JHjr/Brycen TE (3) Tremble/Sanders/Evans OL (10) Icky/Lewis/Corbett/Hunt/Moten/Brady/Mayes/Yosh/Zavala/Kingston Defense: (25) DL: (6) Brown/Robinson/Turk/Bobby B/Cam Jackson/Sam Roberts OLB: (5) Wonnom/PJ2/NicSic/Princely/Incoon ILB: (5) Rozeboom/TW/Windmon/Cherelus/Bam CB: (5) Horn/MJ/CSW/Thorton/Evans S: (4) Tre'Mo/Ransom/Demani/Scott Specialists: (3) JJ/Fitz/Martin Last spot: Right now I have it as a toss up between DJ Johnson and Bam.  Until NicSic can come back we need an extra edge.  Do we utilize TW more as a blitzer from the middle to keep Bam safe?  I'm not worried about DJJ getting picked up from another team, a little more concerned with Bam. Practice Squad: DavidMoore/JamesMitchell/JacolbyGeorge/Tuttle/Crumdley/Ray/DJJohnson/Kantra/Carter/Blacksheer/ Wright/KrysBarnes/MichaelReid/Safety pick up/RB pick up/QB pick up
