The Panthers were 4th on that list and didnt have a 1000 yard rusher and the teams rush game sucked for the majority of the season.

I know right,.. I’m not sure what he’s trying to argue?

we went to the playoffs without a 1000 yard rusher all 4 years out of 5 including the Super Bowl, but we were in the top 10 rushing teams or even top 5 every year.

we are going to have another year in the top 5.

it means nothing if the defense can’t stop chunk plays

You are trying to be selective and yet supporting the point.

the panthers are right now averaging more than 100 yards rushing per game, and ranked number 5 right on pace with last year.

I still think you have no idea what you are arguing.

if you are saying we need 100 yards rushing a game, then correct and it’s happening now,..

but if you are saying the falcons rushed 170 yards per game because we only rushed 105 you are crazy.

most of theirs was chunk plays,..again on the defense,

we controlled the clock— the clock has nothing to do with limiting chunk plays

Go back to rubbing your lamp,..

The other 9 teams have RBs that produces most of the yards not QB putting up 1/3 of the production.

If Panthers had actual 1,000 yds rushing without CAM (Stewart was 999yds in 2015) this team would be more dangerous and beat the Saints & Falcons like 2015.

So Panthers beat the Falcons, Saints, & Tampa when they had a RB close to 1,000 yds rushing?

L

L is for Lucky,.. and I am. Totally blessed, thanks for pointing that out.

you still have no idea what you are arguing and quite frankly no one else does either.

what's the most catches and rec yards for a rb through first 18 games.

I just looked and hes 5th among running backs in YPG this season

PFR data for player positions only goes back to 1999.  I just searched on most receptions for a RB in first 18 games.  CMC leads the list for receptions:

He's SECOND in receiving yards behind Kamara.

Love

Mr Fluff

Mr. Fluff didn't you say that 5 yards receiving is same as 5 yards rushing?

P.S. Which team won, the one with RB having 100yds rushing & QB having 272 passing yards (ATL)

or

the one with RB having 100yds receiving & QB having 335 passing yards (CAR)

And are you saying CMac doesn’t have 100 combined yards per game? I’m not sure what “fluff” you are referring to.

using 5 yard passes are just like 5 yard runs for controlling clock— the WCO was invented on the concept.

having 20-25 of those types of touches for 100+ yards means it doesn’t matter if it’s 25 carries or a combination,.. either controls the clock the same way.

thats a fact jack, not fluff.

Damn CMC already has 100 career receptions and not even half way through his 2nd season . He'll end up blowing the doors off any reception stats for Panthers history anyway if he stays healthy.

So he will lead in receiving yards vs rushing ? Which I don't have a problem with long as they have other RBs putting work in the Power & Zone running game.
