Missed this one but from the box score:

Marvin Williams and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist were a combined 8/13. The Hornets are now 5-0 when the power forward position shoots over 50%.

Also, the Hornets are currently the sixth seed rough 1/8th of the way through the season.

It helps we've played some garbage ass teams recently, that's for sure.

Thoughts:

MKG is super comfortable as an energy bench PF.

Parker is extremely good still and perfect for our 2nd unit.

Once Monk can get better on defense he still be able to play more and then with his offense turn into a star.

Willie controlled the boards.

Miles brought energy and excitement.

Lamb had his best game of the year.

    • I'm salty every time I see someones mid picks become stars while we throw first and second rounders over and over and they all stink outside of Tet (who still has a lot to prove, imo)
    • There is a contingent that is total Bryce but they weathervane with the wind. When the good Bryce wind blows about once or twice a month we hear a lot from them. But they are always pro Bryce, they just don’t pipe up too much when he sucks. I can’t speak for them, as far as what they are looking at.    In a second contingent, the collective mind is made up. He has had had basically three years worth of starts that might include a top tier outing or two, a few second tier outings, offset by about the same number of bottom tier outings which actually may have the edge there.  The rest of his stuff is third tier and that is going to be the bulk of his starts. We want to move on. And we aren’t getting off of that hill until he puts us off of it. He has not.    There is a third contingent that has no conviction and definitely weather vanes. Bryce is good. Bryce isn’t good. Depending on the latest game. They will buy into 7 on 7 success so that should tell you something.
    • Nacua is really fuging good. He might be a better version of Cooper Kupp.
