Run Pass balance vs the Steelers

Yes we got down early but weren't out early.

Washington took a lot of heat for some questionable calls but I think Norv needs to take a little blame as well.

He has been a HUGE upgrade this season but he Really dropped the ball vs Pittsburgh

One stat I havnt heard one single person mention is how one dimensional we went.  Which when you do that it Really helps the pass rushers.  Heck would even help ours if we faced our own offense Thursday night.

We have always been a run first team and will always be.   But down 21-7 after 2 Fluke TDs pick 6 and the long bomb.  We were still in the game with 5 min left in the 1st quarter.

But then we panicked

After CMC had 9 carries in the first quarter for 60 yards, or 6.6 yards per carry

From then on CMC had only 5 carries over the final 3 Quarters

Once we got down 21-7, only a 2 score game still only in the 1st quarter with 4:35 left in the 1st.  We only rushed 3 times CMC Twice and a 1 yard reverse to Samuel for the rest of the 1st half.

We went 1 dementional and let those pass rushers pin back and destroy our OL

When is the last time Cam has COMPLETED more passes in a game than the Team as a Whole (including Cam) had rushing attempts

The Steelers game as a whole we came in completely unprepared which is on Ron.  Now lets hope we've licked the wombs   and can shake this off, forget it and get back to playing Panthers football

Wish my tongue had that much reach.

It's really hard to know who to blame. I doubt Norv's scheme ever called on Christian McCaffrey to block a defensive tackle. I did think a naked bootleg in the endzone that resulted in the pick six was a really stupid call in that situation. Yeah, Cam made a bad decision but there was really no way that play was ending well.
