Goodell is going to screw up this league.

I dont' give a poo how close London is to the east coast in relation to Seattle is to east coast..

This league will suffer if this happens.. Goodell needs to sit back and relax and realize this sport will succeed on it's own. Keep the players in line and keep the NFL in the U.S...

Lay off the fines a bit for the cheap stuff, he's going over board in a few areas there.. (For the bullshit penalties).. lay the law down for the hardcore stuff...

take it the f**k easy, Goodell...

London does not need a damn football team... THat's absurd.. You ahve 32 teams, QBs are hard to find for 12 teams as it is... Keep the competition strong in all positions and keep 32 teams... If another city in the U.S. wants to pick up a team, vote on it... fine.

Here is what I think will go down.

Jax will move to LA.

Buffalo to Toronto

London will get a team

Mexico city will get one.

London will be a NFC team and Mexico city a AFC. This will all take place in the next five years. In ten years wouldnt be surprised if Germany and Spain picks up teams either and one other city in Europe getting another to make a conference. Schedule will go to 18 games with only 2 preseason games. Logistically it will work just schedule the London games where teams playing there will have a bye. After all the byes are gone London team travels to East Coast games.

Rome spread itself too thin and fell apart.. Sure, the logistics can work out, but in no way can this benefit the NFL...

If you want football in Europe, bring back NFL-Europe...

But, this is JMO...

I have no problem with them playing games over there, but to move or put a franchise over there, is absurd.

I really don't even want them playing games over there...

If it's my team, it better be an away game.. my point is, it's someone else's home game and if I'm a season ticket holder... That fuging sucks.

I just think that by playing games over there, it is good for the sport and it's good for some of the players.

I think that because these games are making so much money for Goodell, that he thinks if he moves a franchise to England, that it will continue to make as much money as a single game. If that makes sense.

But a franchise in England won't make a lot of money or generate a lot of excitement, because Soccer is and always will be the #1 in England, and Boxing will probably be the #2.

I actually would like to see them add teams in Toronto, Mexico City, and London. I'd love to see American Football become a world wide game.

I can't imagine Mexico city happening though. What player would want to be drafted or traded to a team that plays in a country that doesn't speak English?

Money talks my friend.

yeap- Goodell doesnt understand that some times you dont mess with a good thing.

Like Kispy Kreme, they we doing great when they were tri-regional, damn near went bankrupt when they went nation wide.

Goodell is a money hungry fool.

amen.... Krispy Kreme, while they never made a quality donut...it was acceptable back before the mid-1990's transformation. I remember the old Krispy Kreme in Greensboro was a smoky, cramped counter with only 10 or so different donuts back in the late 80's... the modern, low-carb, McDonaldized poo they try to sell now just doesn't cut it.... and to be honest, the donuts are just poor. The original is a greasy, overpriced bagel disguised with far too much icing.......now....

Britt's Donuts.... THAT is where it's at.....heavenly..

wow sorry this has nothing to do with the NFL...

    • Yeah, I've been torn up all week about this. And I'm going to be honest, you and I don't know poo about what is going on with the team. Are they losing the locker room? Not seeing anything from the players about that, just seeing it on forums like this. Are they concerned? Yeah, I'd think that would be a reasonable assumption. Are they rallying around Bryce? Yeah, that I'm seeing from the stuff we see of the players. Is some of it a bit drummed up, quite possibly. Is some of it genuine care and belief in their teammate, yeah most definitely. What is Morgan going to do? Hell, that was just week 1. And week one is often a liar. Once in a while it tells the truth (and that sure was an ugly one to tell last Sunday). Most often, it's just what it is. Half the teams that played in week one lost. Straight down the middle. Sometimes it was a close game, sometimes it was a blowout. We got punched in the face, had our lunch money stolen and Jacksonville kissed our girlfriend.  Me, I saw a team that wasn't up to speed yet. We were playing like this was the fourth pre-season game like we used to have. We're going to learn a lot about Bryce, this team, our coaching and team management after this week's game. It's against the Cardinals, a team that has always been one of those benchmarks for it. Beat them and good things happen (remember that killer game Julius Peppers had against them), lose and it often starts the fast slide to the bottom again (sadly, that playoff game with Jake...). Right now, the Cardinals have their Bryce Young, except their guy still has a better PR department. They have a meh-ish defense. They have a star WR that is underperforming and was possibly over-drafted. They don't have many stars to speak of and dwell around 3rd-4th place in their division on a regular basis. In other words, they are pretty much on par with us. And they are a forgotten team as well, playing games in obscurity. So, yeah, we're going to learn the tale of the season this weekend. And honestly, if we lose like we just did or worse, and I was Dan Morgan, I'd be working on polishing up that resume`.
    • Lol I don’t understand why everyone is liking that post and quoting it, it’s from last season. Did I miss something?
    • At this point, I don't want anymore fools gold from Young. He either needs to be in the MVP conversation  (lol) or I want to get blown out every game until he is off the team. Our front office just isn't bright enough to handle anything in between.
