From what I've read Simmons has first round talent, but due to a video showing him punching a woman multiple times he could slide in the draft similar to Joe Mixon.

There's a massive gulf between the Mixon video and the Simmons video.

Simmons basically got carried away breaking up a fight. I wouldn't have an issue draft Simmons if everything the out talking to coaches, friends, professors, etc. I wouldn't have touched Joe Mixon no matter what.

Good to know. It could be a complete non-factor. I've seen mocks with him going anywhere from the top 10 to in the 20s in the first round to the 2nd round.

One, it would be a later round project type pick. Not looking for him to play immediately. Two,  just because we chose the least athletic CB in the draft and tried and failed(so far) doesn’t mean you don’t try again. We could always draft two more box Safeties because they played S in college. That’s the problem now.

Just watched some tape on Peters. I may have to retract my previous statement on passing on him. While if he stays at corner I think he would be better in man than a zone defense like ours.  But I can see why you were talking about converting him to safety. Good tackler, very long, and can run.  Interested to see how he tests.

    • every team having an international appearance every year is almost guaranteed right now.  Panthers will be the Home team in Germany once every four years in the current rotation (2028 being next). List of home game markets: Argentina: Dolphins Australia: Raiders, Rams, Eagles, Seahawks Austria: Lions, Colts, Chiefs, Pats, Seahawks, Bucs Brazil: Lions, Dolphons, Pats, Eagles Canada: Bills, Bengals, Cards, Lions, Vikings, Seahawks China: Rams Colombia: Dolphins France: Saints Germany: Falcons, Pathers, Lions, Packers, Colts, Chiefs, Pats, Giants, Steelers, Seahawks, Bucs Ghana: Eagles Greece: Chargers Ireland: Packers, Jags, Chiefs, Jets, Steelers, Titans Japan: Rams Mexico: Cards, Cowboys, Broncos, Texans, Chiefs, Raisers, Rams, Dolphons, Steelers, 49ers New Zealand: Raiders, Rams, Eagles, Seahawks Nigeria: Browns South Korea: Rams Spain: Bears, Chiefs, Dolphins Switzerland: Lions, Colts, Chiefs, Pats, Seahawks, Bucs UAB: Rams, 49ers, Commanders UK: Ravens, Bears, Packers, Jags, Chiefs, Dolphins, Vikings, Jets, 49ers So if we're *not* the home team, then we should keep an eye out on our road trip schedule for any of these teams and assigned home countries for potential matchups Example:  if we're playing the Packers as a road trip, there's a chance that the NFL would make us play in Ireland or the UK for that matchup to align with GB's home marketing country
    • He did say he was likely to take a good OC spot over a bad HC spot. A little surprised he didn't go Lions. That's an insane offense to have your hands on.
