i know this is going against the majority at this point..

BUT

jake should start next week... if he looks bad.. pull him..

he wasn't the reason we lost last week... our team looked horrible on special teams!!!

also the play calling was the worst i can remember...

just my opinion...

go aheah bash me... doesnt matter

the answer is NOT on our roster... or we would have already made the move.. i would rather see davidson or crossman go first...

Give me a reason why jake should start? Why should the worst QB in the NFL right now keep his job.

playcalling: WAY more pass than run plays

the smoke route to Smitty on the goaline.. what was that!!!! pick 6 waiting to happen!!!

what about the muffed punt..

what about the 2 missed field goals...

what about the decision to go for it on 4th and 1...

just to name a few..

I expect him to start, but I also expect him to get pulled if he keeps looking this bad. I don't want to wait till the game is out of hand to give Moore a shot. If jake makes a bad throw early or the offense is really bad, then pull Jake and put Moore in.

exactly.. =) that's all i'm saying..

so what do you suggest cletus? moore..?? he'll throw one in 4 minutes..

we have no better alternative..!!!!!!!

We don't know what we have, that's why you find out. We're not going to the playoffs this year barring a miracle. So you take stock of what you have so you know what is needed. I'd say QB is a position you'd like to know if you have a starter, stop gap, or nothing worth mentioning don't you think?

The move marks the first in-season coaching change that Rams head coach Sean McVay has made in his nine seasons in Los Angeles. Rams assistant special teams coach Ben Kotwica will take over and become the lead special teams coach, a source told Schefter. The Rams, 11-4 and second place in the NFC West, lost to the Seahawks on Thursday night in a game that included a Seattle punt return for a touchdown and a missed 48-yard field goal by Los Angeles kicker Harrison Mevis. The Seahawks (12-3) overtook the Rams for first place in the division and the top overall record in the NFC thanks to the 38-37 overtime victory. Though the Rams have lost only four games this season, three have involved special teams miscues. In the Rams' first loss of the season, 33-26 to the Eagles, Los Angeles had its final two offensive possessions end with blocked kicks. In the Rams' Week 10 victory over the Saints, kicker Joshua Karty missed an extra point and a 39-yard field goal attempt. After the game, McVay said the Rams' special teams issues "can't continue like this." Los Angeles replaced long-snapper Alex Ward with Jake McQuaide and Karty with Mevis, who had not missed a kick until Thursday night in Seattle. Blackburn, 42, was in his third season as the Rams' special teams coordinator. A former linebacker for the Giants and Panthers, he also has worked as an assistant with Carolina and Tennessee.
    • It was a bad play from Icky but the OL didn't give up a sack until late in the 4th quarter and Bryce just stood there like he was canatonic. If our 3rd year number one overall pick can't overcome one single sack against a rebuilding Saints team that should only have 2 wins this season then it isn't ever going to happen   This is your quote. I mean I’ve quoted it twice. It was followed by calling people that defended him fugers and several other meltdowns I can also quote.    Shame you for working for a living??? Wow this is a whole new level to your victim mentality thing you like to do. You don’t have to watch games live. Or don’t spend an entire thread arguing about something you didn’t get the full picture of. I miss parts of games all the time. That’s just life. Not even going into the whole losing all respect thing.
    • Rams ended up firing ST coach and former Panthers coach Chase Blackburn after the loss. Sounds all too familiar.
