We’ve been rolling out a series of feature stories during the dog days before camp. I figured this was a better use of our time than going 800 words deep for an autopsy of uncertainties from mini-camp. 

The NFC South of 2014 marked the most bizarre divisional race this football of my lifetime.

Despite it all, there was a happy ending in store. But unlike Bob Kraft, the Panthers opted for a less classy establishment – the Georgia Dome.

Panthers had a 7-8-1 team that talking heads said shouldn’t even be sniffing a PO berth.

Panthers had a 15-1 team that talking heads said was the worst 1loss team in NFL history.

Hopefully in 2019 we have the worst team to ever win a SB.
