Did you just come to this realization that our season is over or have you been sleeping on it a few days.....just saying ya know.

I came to that realization when it was mathematically proven, after all I am a fan and was holding on the hope of change, better play, better playcalling etc. You never give up till its over!

Season aint over. If the D# continues it's phenomenal playing, and the offense shows up in a a big way, we will win two more games. Season is over when you know for sure you aren't gonna win any more games.

The math says we're still in. If we win out we will have a chance. So...

i mean really it's only week 13 and like 6 teams are mathematically eliminated. and 3 of the 4 teams we're playing will be fighting voraciously for a playoff spot, and the other will potentially be fighting for a perfect regular season record. our offense is extremely one dimensional and our defense is inconsistent.

while it's not a formality, this team lost its path to the playoffs a long long time ago.

Well, originally I had written off the season after we started 0-3. We won 2 in a row, I got my hopes up again, then we lost to the Bills. That's when I officially knew it was over. Now, Im just waiting to see what this team does in the offseason.

agreed with this. i lost faith in their ability to get into the playoffs early on. it's more just a matter of when it happens. we would have to win out against some really good teams and some other really good teams would have to lose out. chances are incredibly slim but still there at the moment.

Its all about HOW they are playing. Has nothing to do with their players, not their record, not their schedule, not even if it is mathematically possible.

And when you look at HOW the panthers are playing you can clearly see they are not even close to playoff stature.

    • lol, that second part is quite literally one of the dumbest things ever. Having or not having guaranteed contracts has absolutely nothing to do with how much these billionaires have to pay.  Because there is a hard cap and a minimum cap spend requirement, and teams either use their cap or roll it over to use it all the next year, so the owners have to pay the same amount of money in the end no matter what. Having fully guaranteed contracts in the NFL would only hurt salary cap management, and thus would end up screwing over the team and its fan base when teams kiss on signings as they take up cap room that is needed to improve the roster. Look at the Browns with Watson, they gave him the fully guaranteed deal and all it’s doing is sucking up massive cap space now.  If they hadn’t done that, the owner would still be paying the same amount of money each year as that cap space would still be used elsewhere. If you want to argue for fully guaranteed contracts because the players deserve it, that’s an entirely different argument and a fair one to discuss.  But anyone against fully guaranteed deals isn’t doing it to argue for the billionaire owners.

    • Ryabkin could be the steal of the draft, he was a Top 10 pick heading into last season and had a rough year.  Lots of GMs passed on him because of that and his workouts. Pick has really high upside and Svech should be able to translate Rod tearing his arse a new one for making dumb plays since Svech has had several years of it.  🤣😂
